The wooden tower has 6 floors or levels, the height of the upper viewing platform of the tower is 16 meters. The tower is located by the Kolka pine trail, it will be useful for landscape and birdwatching.

From the tower, you can easily observe the birds during their migration with binoculars or a telescope, when it is possible to count tens of thousands of birds in the area of Kolkasrag within an hour. In the sea near Kolkasrag, birds feed and rest all year round, including in winter. There is a pine forest near the tower itself and the crowns of the trees are at the height of its upper floor, so you will see what the birds are doing there.
